Effective date: October 21, 2026
Salmon Diagnostics (“Salmon Diagnostics,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit salmondx.com (the “Site”), join our waitlist, contact us, or receive messages from us, how we use and protect that information, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a form on the Site (for example, to join the waitlist or send us a message), we collect the details you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number if you provide it, your role (patient, clinician, research partner or media), and the content of your message.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring website, and the date and time of your visit. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6).
Health information. The Site is not designed to collect medical or health information, and we ask that you do not send us health details through our website forms. If you later use a Salmon Diagnostics test or service, any health information involved will be handled under the separate notices and agreements that apply to that service and under applicable law, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) where it applies.
2. How we use information

- To send you waitlist updates, early access information and news about our progress that you asked to receive.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
3. How we share information
We share personal information only in these limited cases:
- Service providers that help us run the Site and communicate with you (for example website hosting, email delivery and messaging platforms). They may use the information only to provide services to us and must protect it.
- Legal reasons, when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, safety or property of Salmon Diagnostics, our users or others.
- Business transfers, if Salmon Diagnostics is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this Policy will continue to apply to your information.
- With your consent, or at your direction.

6. Cookies and analytics
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies that are needed for the Site to work, and may use analytics tools to understand traffic and improve the Site. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works. We do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals at this time, as there is no common industry standard for them.
7. Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, such as keeping you on our waitlist until you ask to be removed, or as required by law.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, to opt out of certain uses, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Residents of California and other U.S. states with consumer privacy laws may have additional rights under those laws. To make a request, email hello@salmondx.com.
